The marketing label given to a cannabis cultivar, like Gelato or Sour Diesel, which is not legally protected and can be applied inconsistently across growers. Two jars sharing a strain name may differ in chemistry and effect. Treat the name as a starting hint and verify with terpene and cannabinoid data.
